Ingredients:
- 1 oz Agua Magica Mezcal
- 1 oz Campari
- 1 oz Sweet Vermouth
Garnish: Orange peel
Method:
Stir all ingredients with ice until well-chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Express orange peel over the drink and garnish.
MEZCAL NEGRONI
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Agua Magica Mezcal (or gin for the traditional version)
- 1 oz Suze
- 1 oz Lillet Blanc
Garnish: Grapefruit twist
Method:
Stir all ingredients with ice until well-chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Express grapefruit peel over the drink and garnish.
WHITE NEGRONI
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Agua Magica Mezcal
- 0.5 oz Añejo Tequila
- 1 barspoon Agave Nectar
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Garnish: Orange peel, flamed
Method:
Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until well-chilled and properly diluted. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Flame orange peel over the surface and drop in as garnish.
OAXACA OLD FASHIONED
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Agua Magica Mezcal
- 1 oz Yellow Chartreuse
- 1 oz Aperol
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
Garnish: None (appropriately naked)
Method:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until well-chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
NAKED AND FAMOUS
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Agua Magica Mezcal
- 1 oz Green Chartreuse
- 1 oz Maraschino Liqueur
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
Method:
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until well-chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
MEZCAL LAST WORD
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Agua Magica Mezcal
- 1 oz Aperol
- 1 oz Amaro Nonino
- 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
Method:
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until well-chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
MEZCAL PAPER PLANE
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Agua Magica Mezcal
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 3/4 oz Orange Liqueur (Cointreau)
- 1/4 oz Agave Nectar
Garnish: Salt rim and lime wheel
Method:
Rim a rocks glass with salt if desired. Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until well-chilled. Strain over fresh ice and garnish with a lime wheel.
MEZCAL MARGARITA
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Agua Magica Mezcal
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
Garnish: Salt rim (optional) and lime wheel
Method:
If desired, rim a rocks glass with salt. Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until well-chilled. Strain over fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.
SKINNY MARGARITA
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Agua Magica Mezcal
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 1/2 oz Agave Nectar
- 3 thin cucumber slices
- 2 sprigs cilantro
Garnish:
Tajín rim, cucumber ribbon, cilantro sprig
Method:
Gently muddle cucumber and cilantro with agave nectar in a shaker. Add remaining ingredients and ice. Shake vigorously until well-chilled. Double strain over fresh ice in a Tajín-rimmed glass. Garnish with cucumber ribbon and cilantro sprig.
MEZCALITA
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Agua Magica Mezcal
- 1 oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
- 1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- Pinch of Sea Salt
- Topo Chico
Garnish: Grapefruit wedge and salt rim
Method:
Rim a highball glass with salt if desired. Fill with ice. Add mezcal, grapefruit juice, and lime juice. Top with Topo Chico and add a pinch of salt. Gently stir to combine. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
MEZCAL PALOMA
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Agua Magica Mezcal
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- Topo Chico
Garnish: Lime wheel
Method:
In a tall glass filled with ice, add mezcal and lime juice. Top with Topo Chico (traditionally, the entire bottle). Gently stir once to combine. Garnish with a lime wheel.
RANCH WATER
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Agua Magica Mezcal
- 1 oz Fresh Espresso
- 1/2 oz Coffee Liqueur
- 1/4 oz Agave Nectar
Garnish: Three coffee beans
Method:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until well-chilled and properly aerated. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with three coffee beans.
